Wix and Global-e Join Forces to Boost Cross-Border eCommerce for Merchants

Wix, the renowned SaaS website builder platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Global-e Online, a leading direct-to-consumer cross-border eCommerce enabler, according to The Fintech Times. This collaboration aims to provide Wix merchants with an advanced international cross-border selling solution, facilitating their expansion into new global markets.

The partnership leverages Wix’s existing eCommerce capabilities and integrates Global-e’s industry-leading cross-border functionalities. This integration allows Wix merchants to enhance their online presence and effortlessly tap into new global markets. Merchants will benefit from features such as fully localized checkout experiences, support for multiple currencies, customizable pricing capabilities, and the ability to tailor offerings to specific markets.

One of the key highlights of this collaboration is the ability for Wix merchants to present pricing and accept payments in over 100 currencies, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for their global customers. Additionally, merchants can set different prices for products in different countries, enabling them to cater to regional markets effectively. The partnership also includes advanced tax and duty setup in compliance with local market regulations, providing customers with the total cost of their purchase at checkout.
