Billie Is the First B2B BNPL to Use Stripe’s EU Platform

Billie, a prominent provider of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions for businesses, has successfully integrated with Stripe. This collaboration makes Billie the first B2B BNPL service available on Stripe’s European platform, as stated in FinTech Magazine.

With this integration, online shops and marketplaces operating on Stripe can now offer Billie’s B2B BNPL payment method to their business customers. The setup process is seamless, allowing merchants to activate Billie’s services in just a few steps.

Billie’s integration with Stripe marks a significant growth opportunity. Now accessible in countries like Germany, France, and the Netherlands, businesses using Stripe’s platform can test and implement Billie’s payment solution. By the end of the year, any business running on Stripe’s infrastructure will be able to offer Billie’s BNPL method to their customers.

Billie’s BNPL service allows business customers to defer payments for up to 30 days while ensuring merchants receive their funds without delay. This system provides real-time approval at checkout and includes protections against default and fraud, benefiting both buyers and sellers. Stripe’s customers can now offer flexible payment terms, reduce credit risk, and eliminate the administrative burden of collections.

Mauro Miotto, VP of Partnerships at Billie, expressed excitement about the partnership: “Our partnership will enable thousands of merchants across Europe to grow their customer base, modernize their B2B payment systems, and expand into new markets without facing the risks of payment default or fraud.”

Billie’s collaboration with Stripe follows a period of strong growth, with over 500,000 unique business customers served at more than 3,500 shops and marketplaces across Europe, including notable brands like Alibaba and Samsung. This partnership comes on the heels of other significant collaborations, such as with BNP Paribas and Adyen earlier this year.

John Collison, President and Co-founder of Stripe, highlighted Stripe’s commitment to innovation and growth: “Stripe only grows when all of you grow.” The integration with Billie is set to further enhance Stripe’s capabilities in helping its clients expand and succeed.
